آثارُ دَمٍ صببنَه لا تَخفى
How wondrous the budding-breasted maidens who dyed their palms!
Blemished are the hands of fair maidens with traces of blood
The traces of blood they spilled are plain to see.
The stains of which cannot remain hidden

أَضحى كَسِوارِها عَلَيها وَقفا
My heart is forever captive in their hands.
My heart is forever imprisoned in their hands
Like her bracelet, it has become hers in perpetuity.
Becoming like the bracelets on their wrists
