في قولك لا شوبَ منَ التَحقيقِ

في وعدك لا بُدَّ من التَعويقِ

In what you say there is no trace of truth

In your promise there is inevitable delay

ما لِلمُتنافيينِ جَمعٌ أَبَداً

ما لِلمتُلازِمَينِ من تَفريقِ

Those who oppose can never unite

And those who unite can never separate
