إِن يُبدِ تَكاسُلاً نَسيمُ السَحَرِ

أَو تَنقَطعِ الكُتبُ فَما مِن خَبَرِ

If the breeze of dawn seems idle,

Or the revelations cease - worry not:

لا العَهدُ زَمانَ فَترَةِ الرُسُلِ وَهى

لا اِنحَلَّ مِن اِنقِطاعِ وَحيٍ مِرَري

Neither the age of prophets has passed,

Nor has the flow of divine guidance halted.
