صُبحاًat dawn وَردarrived الوردُthe roses يُرىis seen عَرضَthe parade of الجَيشthe army
صُبحاً وَرد الوردُ يُرى عَرضَ الجَيش
فالزمهso stay with it يُفِدكَwill grant you بَسطُهits unfolding طيبَthe sweetness of العَيشlife
فالزمه يُفِدكَ بَسطُه طيبَ العَيش
At morn the rose came, to be shown the army’s review;
At dawn the roses arrived, seen as an army on parade.
So cling to it: its unfolding will bring you the sweetness of life.
So stay beside them; their unfolding will grant you life's sweetness.
هَذيthese الجَمَراتُthe embers مِنfrom بَنيsons of الأَصفرal-Asfar (the Yellow One) إِنif
هَذي الجَمَراتُ مِن بَني الأَصفر إِن
وافَينَthey arrive وَأهدَرنَand they shed دمَthe blood of الزِقِّthe wineskin فأيشso what?
وافَينَ وَأهدَرنَ دمَ الزِقِّ فأيش
These embers are from Banū al-Aṣfar—if
These embers are from Banu al-Asfar; if
They arrive and spill the wineskin’s blood, so what?
they arrive and shed the wineskin's blood, what of it?
