مَنwho يَضمَنُwill guarantee ليfor me إِلىto المنىdesires تَبليغاconveyance
مَن يَضمَنُ لي إِلى المنى تَبليغا
لِلقَلبfor the heart عَنِfrom الهَمِّgrief يَرىsees تَفريغاrelief
لِلقَلب عَنِ الهَمِّ يَرى تَفريغا
Who will guarantee me passage to my desires,
And see the heart relieved of grief—
منfrom مُلكthe realm of جَمالِthe beauty of وَجههاher face ليfor me نَظَراa glimpse
من مُلك جَمالِ وَجهها لي نَظَرا
منfrom بردthe coolness of رُضابِthe saliva of ثَغرِهاher mouth تَسويغاallowing a draught
من برد رُضابِ ثَغرِها تَسويغا
A glimpse for me of the realm of her face’s beauty,
A draught of the cool saliva of her mouth?
