في نَقضِكَ عَهدَ من وَفى نَفّاذا
In affection I see you as deceitful, a lying flatterer.
In friendship I see your deceit, why?
You are adept at breaking the pledge of one who kept faith.
In your breaking a pact with one who fulfilled it.

You made my enemy gloat and took my blood-guilt upon yourself.
My enemy rejoiced at my misfortune and you took his blood money.
This is not my stipulation, nor is this my recompense.
This was neither my condition nor my reward.
