تَوَّجتُI crowned بَنانيmy fingertips بِكؤوسwith cups الراحِwine
تَوَّجتُ بَناني بِكؤوس الراحِ
أَجلوI unveil سَحَراًbefore dawn وَجهَthe face عَروسbride الراحِwine
أَجلو سَحَراً وَجهَ عَروس الراحِ
I crowned my fingertips with cups of wine.
I have crowned my fingers with cups of comfort,
Before dawn, I unveil the face of the bride of wine.
To unveil the magic of the bride of comfort's face,
فيin الرأسِthe head ضَبابَةُmist الخُمارthe hangover اِمتَدَّتhas spread
في الرأسِ ضَبابَةُ الخُمار اِمتَدَّت
لاnot يَكشِفُهاdispels it غَيرُother than شُموسِsuns الراحِwine
لا يَكشِفُها غَيرُ شُموسِ الراحِ
In the head, the mist of the hangover has spread.
The mistiness of the veil has spread in my head,
Nothing dispels it but the suns of wine.
None can unveil it but the suns of comfort.
