وزير العالم الصدر المفدّى
سليمانSuleiman الذيwho فاقsurpassed الصدوراthe grand viziers
سليمان الذي فاق الصدورا
The world's minister, the cherished grand vizier,
The noble minister, the ransomed chest
Suleiman, who surpassed the grand viziers,
Solomon who surpassed all hearts
أعادrestored مناهلاًfountains كانتwere تحلّتadorned
أعاد مناهلاً كانت تحلّت
وارجعهاand returned them لسبلto the paths of اللهGod فوراat once
وارجعها لسبل الله فورا
Restored fountains that had been adorned,
He restored springs that were adorned
And returned them at once to God's paths.
And returned them to the ways of God immediately
بهاthrough them عكاAcre زهتflourished وغدتand became تنادىcalling out
بها عكا زهت وغدت تنادى
جزاmay reward الرحمنthe Merciful آلthe people of الفضلbounty خيراًwith goodness
جزا الرحمن آل الفضل خيراً
Through them Acre flourished and began to proclaim:
Through him Acre flourished and began to call out
“May the Merciful reward the people of bounty with goodness!”
May the Merciful reward the virtuous family with goodness
وتنشدand recites حينwhen بالتاريخwith the date or chronogram عادتit returned
وتنشد حين بالتاريخ عادت
سقاهمgave them to drink ربهمtheir Lord كاساًa cup طهوراpure; purifying
سقاهم ربهم كاساً طهورا
And when it returned with the chronogram, it recited:
And it sings when it returns in history
“Their Lord gave them a cup of pure drink.”
Their Lord gave them a purifying cup
