تمت لفرحات البنين وقد
وافىarrived السرورjoy وولىand departed الهمsorrow منهزماdefeated
وافى السرور وولى الهم منهزما
The sons’ rejoicings were complete, and indeed
The joys of children were fulfilled, and
Joy arrived, and sorrow fled defeated.
Happiness arrived while worries fled defeated.
فوفقso blessed اللهGod إكليلينtwo bridal crowns فيat زمنa time
فوفق الله إكليلين في زمن
بليلةon a night انسهاits delight قدindeed تمّwas complete وانتظماand became harmonious
بليلة انسها قد تمّ وانتظما
So God blessed two bridal crowns at one time,
So God granted two crowns in a time
On a night whose delight was complete and harmonious.
When a night to be forgotten was perfected and arranged.
فباتso passed the night كوكبthe star of ميخائيلMikhail منthrough شرفٍhonor
فبات كوكب ميخائيل من شرفٍ
وسعدand the good fortune of أنطونAnton أبدىdisplayed البشرgladness مبتسماsmiling
وسعد أنطون أبدى البشر مبتسما
Thus Mikhail’s star passed the night in honor,
The star of Michael rose with honor,
And Anton’s good fortune displayed gladness, smiling.
And Anthony smiled with eternal joy.
وقلبand the heart of يوسفYusuf مسرورٌjoyful فارّخهُso he recorded its date
وقلب يوسف مسرورٌ فارّخهُ
أقامhe held عرساًa wedding شريفاًnoble فيat زواجهماthe marriage of the two
أقام عرساً شريفاً في زواجهما
And Yusuf’s heart was joyful, so he recorded its date:
And Joseph's heart rejoiced, so he commemorated it
He held a noble wedding for their marriage.
By holding a noble wedding feast for their marriage.
