These lands appeared in a robe of glory;
These lands appeared in pride's attire
Over the regions they have trailed its skirts.
Above all regions, trailing skirts.

Yes, their circumstances have improved, yet
Yes, their circumstances are beautiful, but
The one who showed kindness in their affairs
In their ever beautiful state.

Is a minister who rose above the ministers, until
A minister named the ministers until
We called him their venerable elder.
We called him their venerable elder.

For in every land he has bestowed favors;
So in all the countries he has great deeds
We seek a long span to give thanks for them.
We want to thank for a long time.

We see all calamities, however high they loom,
We see all troubles, though lofty,
Reduced by his wisdom to a thing subdued.
With his wisdom become a humble matter.

لذاtherefore أضحىbecame بكمof you مدحيmy praise قليلاscant
O father of ministers, your stature exceeds description;
Minister of ministers, your worth transcends description
Thus my praise of you has become scant.
Thus my praise for you is made little.
ملكتمyou possessed كلevery مكرمةnoble quality وفضلand virtue

You possessed every noble quality and virtue,
You have mastered every honor and virtue
And built, through eminence, a deep-rooted glory.
And you have, by the highest, tied glory.

You opened for humankind the gates of justice,
You opened doors of justice to the world,
On which others had placed locks.
Above them I have placed locks.

And you walked the way of right guidance, until
And you walked the path of righteousness until
We came to follow a path in your footsteps.
We follow your path as an example.

And upon the pages of history has been preserved
And above the tablets of history I keep
For you a noble glory that shall never fade.
For you a glorious pride that will not fade.
