أن قيل هذا كتاب قلت قد صدقوا

أن قيل هذا كتاب قلت قد صدقوا

محمد أنت فأقبلهُ أيا أملي

محمد أنت فأقبلهُ أيا أملي

If it is said, “This is a book,” I say, “They have spoken truly.”

If they say this is a book, I say they speak true

You are Muhammad, so accept it, O my hope.

Muhammad, it is you, so accept it, O my hope

أو قيل سيف لخصم المشكلات نعم

أو قيل سيف لخصم المشكلات نعم

فأنت أيضاً سميُّ للأمام عليّْ

فأنت أيضاً سميُّ للأمام عليّْ

Or if it is called a sword for the foe of difficulties—yes:

Or if they say a sword against complex problems, yes

For you are also the namesake of Imam Ali.

For you too are called the Victorious, Ali
