نعمى من الخاقان خاقان الملا
قدindeed طوقتencircled أعناقthe necks هذاthis العصرِage
قد طوقت أعناق هذا العصرِ
A blessing from the Khagan, Khagan of the people,
The king of kings, Hakan the Great
Has encircled the necks of this age.
Has collared the necks of this age
وتخصصتand were singled out أقطارناour lands بأخصهاwith its choicest part
وتخصصت أقطارنا بأخصها
إذwhen عادreturned وإليهاand to her الجليلexalted القدرِin rank
إذ عاد وإليها الجليل القدرِ
And our lands were singled out for its choicest share,
And singled out its regions, each by its own merit
