عِلماًin knowledge وحَزماًand in resolve فيamong الوَرَىhumankind
عِلماً وحَزماً في الوَرَى
O keen-witted one who has risen high
O brilliant one who rose high
In knowledge and resolve among humankind,
In knowledge and wisdom in the land
ماnothing مثلُlike قولكَyour words آمراًcommanding
ما مثلُ قولكَ آمراً
ياO صاحِfriend عَلِّمteach مَنwhoever سَرَىtraveled by night
يا صاحِ عَلِّم مَن سَرَى
