برِحابكِwithin your courts المجدُglory الخطيرُexalted مَدَىthroughout الزَمَنtime
برِحابكِ المجدُ الخطيرُ مَدَى الزَمَن
Congratulations, O house of happiness! There has appeared
Congratulations, oh home of happiness, be high
Within your courts exalted glory for all time.
In your spaces, glory wanders across time
أَيO جَنَّةَgarden الفِردَوسِParadise دامَmay endure لكِfor you الغِنَىprosperity
أَي جَنَّةَ الفِردَوسِ دامَ لكِ الغِنَى
ماas long as غنَّتsings الوَرقاءُthe gray dove فيin الروضthe garden الأَغَنmelodious
ما غنَّت الوَرقاءُ في الروض الأَغَن
O garden of Paradise, may prosperity remain yours
Oh garden of paradise, may you always have riches
As long as the gray dove sings in the melodious garden.
The leaves did not sing in the meadows as beautifully
واسميand rise high بإِسمعيلَthrough Ismail بانيكِyour builder الذيwho
واسمي بإِسمعيلَ بانيكِ الذي
قدindeed قلَّدَadorned with collars الاعناقَthe necks اطواقَcollars المِنَنbenefactions
قد قلَّدَ الاعناقَ اطواقَ المِنَن
And rise high through Ismail, your builder, who
And my name is Ismael, your builder
Has indeed adorned necks with collars of beneficence.
Who adorned the necks with necklaces of favors
نسلscion الأماجدِthe noble men ذيpossessor of الإِمارةprincely authority مَنwho سَماsoared
نسل الأماجدِ ذي الإِمارة مَن سَما
بَعَلائهِthrough his eminence وذَكائِهِand his intelligence اعلىthe highest القُنَنpeaks
بَعَلائهِ وذَكائِهِ اعلى القُنَن
Scion of noble men, holder of princely authority, who soared
The offspring of glories, the prince who became well known
Through his eminence and intelligence above the highest peaks.
With his triumphs and intelligence, atop all ranks
ماnot انتyou الَّاexcept بدرُa full moon افقٍa horizon حولهُaround it
ما انت الَّا بدرُ افقٍ حولهُ
شُهبُshooting stars البنينَthe sons تُنيرُshine فيin ظُلَمdarkness الدُجَنdark clouds
شُهبُ البنينَ تُنيرُ في ظُلَم الدُجَن
You are but a full moon on the horizon, around which
You are nothing but a full moon whose surroundings
The sons, like shooting stars, shine amid the gloom of dark clouds.
Are lit by the stars of sons in the darkness of prisons
حيٌّa clan لحيّfor one alive in الذكرrenown حيّhail مورخاًrecording the date
حيٌّ لحيّ الذكر حيّ مورخاً
دُمendure بيتَhouse اسمعيلIsmail فردوسَparadise عَدَنEden
دُم بيتَ اسمعيل فردوسَ عَدَن
A clan for one of lasting renown—hail it, recording the date:
Long live the life of remembrance, long live recorded
Endure, O house of Ismail, as a paradise of Eden.
