O you who, so long as you are engaged in

unraveling the enigma, have its revealer—
Unraveling the riddle, knowledge of it,
ماذاwhat يضاهيis equivalent to ياO فتىyoung man
ماذا يضاهي يا فتى
قوليmy saying لمنto one who رجعreturned انظُرَهlook at him
قولي لمن رجع انظُرَه
What could rival, young man,
What, young man, is equivalent to
my saying? Whoever reverses it—behold it.
My saying to one who returned, ‘Look at him’?
