A youth who has ascended the pinnacle of glory and eminence.
A youth who has reached the summit of glory and sublime eminence
So he has no rival in all he has attained.
Has no equals among the eminent

A youth whom God has endowed with might, so he cares not,
A youth endowed by Allah with helping hands that never fail
Even if eyes look askance at him.
Though the gazes of onlookers dart towards him like sparks

A youth whose heart no grave perils can frighten,
A youth whose heart feels no fear of formidable things
Even if the least of them were ravening lions.
Though they be as fierce as the darkest, most ferocious lions

A youth who possesses forbearance, resolve, and nobility.
A youth who embodies patience, wisdom and virtue
So eyes find delight in him alone among mankind.
So people bow before him in awe

Were the hand of reason to clasp his, before him would fall prostrate
If the hand of virtue shook his, it would prostrate itself before him
In reverence, within the palms’ prayer niche, the little fingers.
With dignity, at the prayer niche of clasped palms
