يا من لهُ بالفضل وِردٌ ما تغيَّض
ماذاwhat يضاهيcompares بالتحاجيin exchanging riddles إِنهَضِrise! انهَضrise!
ماذا يضاهي بالتحاجي إِنهَضِ انهَض
O you whose draught of bounty has never dwindled,
O you who have a stream of merit never clouded,
What can compare in riddling? Rise, rise!
What equals striving upward? Arise, arise!
