توقَّBeware شَراهةًgluttony عاثتwrought havoc بحسمٍwith decisiveness
توقَّ شَراهةً عاثت بحسمٍ
فانfor if يُهدَمit is demolished بناؤُكrebuilding you مستحيلُimpossible
فان يُهدَم بناؤُك مستحيلُ
Beware gluttony that has wrought havoc with decisiveness;
Curb your greed which wreaked havoc ruthlessly
For if it is demolished, rebuilding you is impossible.
For it's impossible your edifice be demolished
لانbecause الجِسمَthe body بيتُthe house of النفسِthe soul لكنbut
لان الجِسمَ بيتُ النفسِ لكن
يحقُّis rightful لهاfor it (the soul) إذاif انهدمَit collapses الرحيلُdeparture
يحقُّ لها إذا انهدمَ الرحيلُ
For the body is the soul’s house, but
Since the body is the soul's abode
It is entitled to depart if that house collapses.
Yet it deserves to depart when it collapses
