لرحمةfor the mercy of اللَهُGod حَدٌّa limit ماnot لهُfor it دَرَكٌattainment
لرحمة اللَهُ حَدٌّ ما لهُ دَرَكٌ
فافزَعso seek refuge اليهِin Him ومنهُand from Him حينَwhen تجترمُyou sin
فافزَع اليهِ ومنهُ حينَ تجترمُ
God's mercy has a limit beyond reach.
The mercy of God has a limit, unattainable
So seek refuge in Him, and fear Him when you sin.
So take refuge in Him; when you sin, turn to Him
هوHe الرحيمُthe Merciful ولكنyet منamong مَراحمهِHis mercies
هو الرحيمُ ولكن من مَراحمهِ
بالطبعِby nature يعفوHe forgives وبالتكليفِand out of obligation ينتقمُHe takes vengeance
بالطبعِ يعفو وبالتكليفِ ينتقمُ
He is the Merciful, yet among His mercies
He is the Merciful, but of His mercies
He forgives by nature and takes vengeance out of obligation.
He pardons by nature, yet punishes when obliged
كالنحلlike the bee يَعمَلُit makes منfrom طبعٍan innate nature بهِwithin it عَسلاًhoney
كالنحل يَعمَلُ من طبعٍ بهِ عَسلاً
وليسَand does not يَلدَغُit stings الاexcept حينَwhen يلتزمُit is obliged
وليسَ يَلدَغُ الا حينَ يلتزمُ
Like the bee, which makes honey by its innate nature,
Like the bee who by nature produces honey
And does not sting except when obliged.
And only stings when provoked and confined
