O exalted one among humankind,
Oh, gentle spring in flowered land
whose brilliance rose above the celestial sphere,
Whose skies the stars in splendor span
قُلsay ماwhat يُضاهِيmatches قولَناour saying
قُل ما يُضاهِي قولَنا
طِباقُantithesis صُبحٍdawn هَلَكاperished
طِباقُ صُبحٍ هَلَكا
say what matches our saying:
Say, who can match our word's command?
“Dawn’s antithesis perished.”
