What do the peoples of the House of Osman await?

Umar has returned, standing upright in his dominion.

And God has renewed, in the days of his reign,

the age of the Companions, when justice spreads.

rain revives the lands and grants them fertility.

No king before him has arisen in our land

with whom God, the angels, and humankind are pleased.

On earth, Abd al-Aziz is its adornment today,

and in heaven his counterparts are the sun and the moon.

If our days had grown dark long ago,

then tell them, 'Rejoice: the predawn hour has brightened!'

    ظَلَّت بهِ تَتَّقِي الدُنيا وتَسْتَترُ

    God's caliph is a shade among His creation;

through him the world has continued to guard and shelter itself.

The world would accept no other as its king,

even if Gabriel or al-Khidr were to come to it.

Refined in soul, clear and pure of heart,

strengthened in resolve, effective in command, powerful.

With papers and pens he obtains what he needs

from armies, for those are the white blades and brown spears.

No regret follows any deed of his,

nor is he blamed for any matter, that he should apologize.

Nor is his private or public conduct faulted,

nor does his hearing stray, nor his sight.

He is girded, over doubled robes

of the fear of God, with a sword that destiny forged,

keen of blade, with this inscribed upon its face:

'When the appointed end draws near, caution is of no avail.'

    عبد العزيزِ على أغصانِها ثَمَرُ

    All the sultans, in their generations, are trees;

Abd al-Aziz is the fruit upon their branches.

The angels of the Throne watch over him and serve him,

and good fortune is at his gate, at dusk and at dawn.

You praise him with pens and tongues,

but their lengthy praise is, in truth, a summary.

When we ask the Creator to grant us a wish,

then our only wish is that he remain among us.
