هذاthis مَقامُabode خليلِintimate friend اللهِGod نَحسبُهُwe deem it
هذا مَقامُ خليلِ اللهِ نَحسبُهُ
فيin أرضِناour land للعلمِfor learning والرَّشَدِand right guidance
في أرضِنا للعلمِ والرَّشَدِ
We deem this the abode of God's friend,
This is the station of Allah's friend we reckon
in our land, for learning and right guidance.
In our land for knowledge and guidance
تقولُsay أحرُفُletters تأريخٍa chronogram لهُfor it رُسِمَتwere inscribed
تقولُ أحرُفُ تأريخٍ لهُ رُسِمَت
مُبارَكٌblessed بيتُhouse إبراهيمَIbrahim للأبدِforever
مُبارَكٌ بيتُ إبراهيمَ للأبدِ
The letters of a chronogram inscribed for it say:
Say letters of a date for it were marked
Blessed is the house of Ibrahim forever.
Blessed is the house of Abraham forever
