ألطافُهُ وعليها الجودُ بُرهانُ

شيخُ التُّقَى عُمدةُ العُقَّالِ مَنزِلِهُ

مَضافةٌ ليسَ تخلو مِنهُ ضِيفانُ

مَضافةٌ ليسَ تخلو مِنهُ ضِيفانُ

A sheikh of piety, a pillar of the sages; his home

The sheikh of piety, the pillar of the rational

Is a guesthouse from which guests are never absent.

His house is hospitable, no guests are absent from it

قد كانَ في الدِّينِ والدُّنيا على ثِقَةٍ

قد كانَ في الدِّينِ والدُّنيا على ثِقَةٍ

مِن ربِّهِ وعليهِ مِنهُ رِضوانُ

مِن ربِّهِ وعليهِ مِنهُ رِضوانُ

In faith and worldly life he had confidence

He was confident in religion and worldly life

In his Lord, and upon him rested His good pleasure.

From his Lord and upon him is His satisfaction

حتَّى قَضَى والي المولى مَضَى فإذا

أرَّختَ قُلْ عندَ مَولَى الخَلقِ سَلْمانُ
