هذاthis ابنُson of إسحاقَIshaq عبدُservant of اللهِGod فرْعُa scion of بنيthe sons of
هذا ابنُ إسحاقَ عبدُ اللهِ فرْعُ بني
عَطيةٍAtiyya فيin الصِّباyouth قدalready فاتَhe left behind دُنياهُhis world
عَطيةٍ في الصِّبا قد فاتَ دُنياهُ
This is Abdullah, son of Ishaq, a scion of Banu
Atiyya; in youth he has already left his world behind.
مَضَىhe went إلىto اللهِGod فوراًat once والهناءُand bliss كماas
مَضَى إلى اللهِ فوراً والهناءُ كما
أرَّختُI recorded the date للعبدِfor the servant إذwhen يَحظَىhe finds favor بمَولاهُwith his Lord
أرَّختُ للعبدِ إذ يَحظَى بمَولاهُ
He went at once to God; and bliss, as
my chronogram records, belongs to the servant when he finds favor with his Lord.
