تركَتْ دِيارَ بَنِي التُّوَيني والتقَتْ
منهمfrom among them بيُوسفَwith Joseph بَعلِهاher husband المتقدِّمِwho had gone before
منهم بيُوسفَ بَعلِها المتقدِّمِ
She left the homes of the Tueni family and met
She left the lands of the Tuwayni tribe and met
Joseph, one of them, her husband who had gone before her.
Yusuf, her husband, the one gone before,
قامَتshe devoted herself بطاعةِto obeying رَبِّهاher Lord فتمتَّعَتْand thus she enjoyed
قامَت بطاعةِ رَبِّها فتمتَّعَتْ
بجمالِin the beauty of فردَوسِthe paradise of النَّعيمbliss الأعظَمِsupreme
بجمالِ فردَوسِ النَّعيم الأعظَمِ
She devoted herself to obeying her Lord and thus enjoyed
She obeyed her Lord so enjoyed
The beauty of the paradise of supreme bliss.
The beauty of highest paradise,
فأصابَthus it was apt تأريخيmy chronogram بِمَرْتَاconcerning Martha أنَّهاthat she
فأصابَ تأريخي بِمَرْتَا أنَّها
نالتْshe gained نصيباًa portion صالِحاًgood مَعَwith مريَمِMary
نالتْ نصيباً صالِحاً مَعَ مريَمِ
Thus my chronogram for Martha aptly records that she
So my record states she attained
Gained a good portion with Mary.
