ياO آلَfamily of ثابِتَThabit بعدَafter فقْدِthe loss of كريمِكمyour noble one
يا آلَ ثابِتَ بعدَ فقْدِ كريمِكم
كُفُّواcease البُكاءَweeping فكلُّfor every حيٍّliving being مائتُmust die
كُفُّوا البُكاءَ فكلُّ حيٍّ مائتُ
O family of Thabit, after the loss of your noble one,
O Aal Thabit, after the loss of your generous one
Cease weeping, for every living being must die.
Stop crying, for every living soul shall die
ولقدand indeed تحقَّقَhas been confirmed مِنby مُؤرِّخِهِhis chronicler الرَّجاhope
ولقد تحقَّقَ مِن مُؤرِّخِهِ الرَّجا
فيin حِجْرِthe bosom of إبراهيمَAbraham يوسُفُYusuf ثابتُThabit
في حِجْرِ إبراهيمَ يوسُفُ ثابتُ
And indeed, hope has been confirmed by his chronicler:
And what his chronicler hoped for has been fulfilled
