He offered bunches of ripe fruit,
He gifted me the ripest fruit plucked,
Their fruit lasting through spring and summer.
Its paradise remains rectangular and summery.

Pages—I imagined the sky to be their sheets,

Written with pens that resembled slender spears,
I wrote with wise pens melting ink,
Strutting in hands that resembled swords.
Waving in wise hands like swords.

Signs of truth have indeed come to Muhammad,
Verses of truth that came to Muhammad,
With testimony admitting no distortion.
With a testimony not accepting distortion.

It was not enough for him to bring pure gold in ingots
Bringing the bright youth as ingots was not enough,
To the people, until he fashioned earrings from it.
Until he molded from it lances.
