أخلَىhe vacated دِيارَthe dwellings of بنيthe sons of الفكَّاكِal-Fakkak منتقِلاًdeparting
أخلَى دِيارَ بني الفكَّاكِ منتقِلاً
إلىto ديارٍdwellings بهاin them قدindeed نالَhe attained ماwhat طَلَباhe sought
إلى ديارٍ بها قد نالَ ما طَلَبا
He left the dwellings of the sons of al-Fakkak, departing
He left the dwellings of Bani al-Fakkak, moving
For dwellings where he attained what he sought.
To dwellings wherein he had attained what he sought.
وباتَand he remained لمَّاwhen قَضَىhe completed تاريخَهُhis life's history أجَلاًan allotted term
وباتَ لمَّا قَضَى تاريخَهُ أجَلاً
فيin مَوقِفِthe station of العرشِthe Throne روفائيلُRaphael مُنتصِباstanding upright
في مَوقِفِ العرشِ روفائيلُ مُنتصِبا
And when he had completed his allotted lifetime, he remained
And when he had fulfilled his allotted course,
Before the Throne—Raphael, standing upright.
