أغَرُّradiant لهُhe has خَلْقٌa physical form تهلَّلَbeamed بالبَهاwith splendor
أغَرُّ لهُ خَلْقٌ تهلَّلَ بالبَها
وخُلْقٌand a character سَمَتْsurpassed أوضاعُهُits qualities فكرَthe thought of مادِحِa praiser
وخُلْقٌ سَمَتْ أوضاعُهُ فكرَ مادِحِ
A radiant man, with a form that beams with splendor,
And a character whose qualities surpass a praiser's thought.
فكاهةُgeniality خُلقٍof character مذْsince تبدَّىappeared جَمالُهاits beauty
فكاهةُ خُلقٍ مذْ تبدَّى جَمالُها
أضاءتْshone بآلاءٍwith blessings غَوادٍarriving in the morning رَوائحِarriving in the evening
أضاءتْ بآلاءٍ غَوادٍ رَوائحِ
Geniality of character, since its beauty appeared,
Has shone with blessings arriving morning and evening.
