هذا مقامٌ لابنِ أحمدَ قد حكَى

هذا مقامٌ لابنِ أحمدَ قد حكَى

بُرجاً تجلَّى فيهِ ضَوءُ الفَرقَدِ

بُرجاً تجلَّى فيهِ ضَوءُ الفَرقَدِ

This is a resting place for Ahmad's son, resembling

a tower in which the light of al-Farqad shone forth.

وملائِكُ المَولى بتأريخٍ لهُ

وملائِكُ المَولى بتأريخٍ لهُ

تقرا السَّلامَ على مَقامِ مُحمَّدِ

تقرا السَّلامَ على مَقامِ مُحمَّدِ

And the Lord's angels, with a chronogram for him,

offer greetings of peace to Muhammad's resting place.
