فيin قبرِthe grave of أوحَدِهَاher only child العزيزِbeloved وذُخرِهاand her treasure
في قبرِ أوحَدِهَا العزيزِ وذُخرِها
Asin, daughter of al-Arqash, was laid to rest here,
in the grave of her beloved only child and treasure.
زارتهُshe visited him فيin تأريخهاher chronogram ولَعَاًout of longing بهِfor him
زارتهُ في تأريخها ولَعَاً بهِ
ليَظَلَّso that he might remain يوسُفُYusuf راقداًasleep فيin حِجْرِهاher lap
ليَظَلَّ يوسُفُ راقداً في حِجْرِها
She visited him, as her chronogram records, out of longing for him,
so that Yusuf might remain asleep in her lap.
