مهلاًbe patient بنيsons of النَّحلوسِal-Nahlus إنَّindeed فقيدَكمyour departed one
مهلاً بني النَّحلوسِ إنَّ فقيدَكم
فيat أوجِthe summit of فِردَوسِthe paradise of النعيمbliss نزيلُa resident
في أوجِ فِردَوسِ النعيم نزيلُ
Be patient, sons of al-Nahlus: indeed, your departed one
O bees, slow down, your one lost
Dwells at the summit of the paradise of bliss.
Is dwelling on high, in paradise made new,
ولأجلهِand for his sake كَتَبَwrote المؤرِّخُthe chronicler حُكمَهُhis judgment
ولأجلهِ كَتَبَ المؤرِّخُ حُكمَهُ
فيin أرفَعِthe highest الدَّرَجاتِranks ميخائيلُMichael
في أرفَعِ الدَّرَجاتِ ميخائيلُ
And for his sake the chronicler wrote his judgment:
And for his sake the chronicler records
“Michael is in the highest ranks.”
His name with the archangel Michael's, too.
