ليُوسُفَ ابنِ الجُدَيِّ اليومَ قد عَمَرت

ليُوسُفَ ابنِ الجُدَيِّ اليومَ قد عَمَرت

دارٌ مُبارَكةٌ دارَ الهَنا فيها

دارٌ مُبارَكةٌ دارَ الهَنا فيها

For Yusuf ibn al-Judayy, today there has flourished

For Yusuf the son of Jodayya, today a blessed house has been built

A blessed house, where joy has made its rounds.

The house of joy in which nightingales of companionship sing

بَلابِلُ الأُنسِ تَشدو في جوانِبهِا

بَلابِلُ الأُنسِ تَشدو في جوانِبهِا

وأنجُمُ السَّعدِ تزهو في أعاليها

وأنجُمُ السَّعدِ تزهو في أعاليها

Nightingales of companionship sing in its corners,

And stars of happiness blossom in its heights

And stars of good fortune shine in its heights.

Unique in the lands of the East, he built it

فريدةٌ في ديارِ الشَّرقِ شيَّدها

فريدةٌ في ديارِ الشَّرقِ شيَّدها

فريدُ ذاتٍ بهِ طابت لياليها

فريدُ ذاتٍ بهِ طابت لياليها

Unique among the lands of the East, it was built

A unique soul with whom its nights have been sweetened

By a matchless man, through whom its nights grew sweet.

So my prayer for him was its date

فكانَ تأريخها منِّي الدُّعاءَ لهُ

فكانَ تأريخها منِّي الدُّعاءَ لهُ

دامتْ ودامَ بحفظِ اللهِ بانيها

دامتْ ودامَ بحفظِ اللهِ بانيها

May it and its builder endure with God's protection
