لِيُوسُفَ ابنِ الجُدَيِّ اُليومَ قد عَمَرَت

لِيُوسُفَ ابنِ الجُدَيِّ اُليومَ قد عَمَرَت

دارٌ مُبارَكةٌ دارَ الهنا فيها

دارٌ مُبارَكةٌ دارَ الهنا فيها

For Yusuf, son of al-Judayy, today there has flourished

For Yusuf ibn al-Judaayi, today a blessed house has been built

A blessed house, where joy makes its rounds.

A house of happiness in which nightingales of companionship sing

بلابلُ الأُنسِ تشدو في جوانبها

بلابلُ الأُنسِ تشدو في جوانبها

وأَنجُمُ السَّعدِ تزهو في أَعاليها

وأَنجُمُ السَّعدِ تزهو في أَعاليها

Nightingales of delight sing along its sides,

And stars of good fortune shine in its heights

And stars of good fortune shine in its heights.

Unique in the lands of the East, he erected it

فريدةٌ في دِيارِ الشَّرقِ شَيَّدها

فريدةٌ في دِيارِ الشَّرقِ شَيَّدها

فَريدُ ذاتٍ بهِ طابت لَياليها

فَريدُ ذاتٍ بهِ طابت لَياليها

Unique among the dwellings of the East, it was built

A unique being with whom its nights became pleasant

By one of peerless nature, through whom its nights grew sweet.

So my prayer for him became its date

فكانَ تأْ ريخُها منِّي الدُّعاءَ لهُ

دامَتْ ودامَ بحِفظِ اللهِ بانيها
