A grave was honored and illumined by a youth,
The soil was honored and illuminated by a youth

Like the full moon among the shining princes, lost

A truthful phrase, with which they dated his passing, declared:
A true phrase inscribed this elegy
Never, through all time, shall we forget the memory of Dawud.
Alas, in life we'll never forget David
