مَليكُsovereign of الورَىhumankind عبدُAbd (servant of) المجيدِal-Majid (the Glorious) قدindeed ابتَنَىbuilt
مَليكُ الورَى عبدُ المجيدِ قد ابتَنَى
مَقاماًan abode لأنصارِfor the champions of الجهِادِjihad مُشيَّداloftily built
مَقاماً لأنصارِ الجهِادِ مُشيَّدا
The sovereign of humankind, Abd al-Majid, has built
The king of the world, Abd al-Majid, has built
A lofty abode for the champions of jihad.
An abode for the supporters of jihad, well-constructed
علىupon بابهِits gate خطَّinscribed المؤرِّخُthe chronicler قائلاًsaying
على بابهِ خطَّ المؤرِّخُ قائلاً
سلامٌpeace عليكمupon you فادخُلواso enter البابَthe gate سُجَّداprostrating yourselves
سلامٌ عليكم فادخُلوا البابَ سُجَّدا
Upon its gate the chronicler inscribed, saying:
Above its door the chronicler has inscribed
Peace be upon you; so enter the gate in prostration.
"Peace be upon you", so enter the door bowing down
