يا مانِعَ الضَيمِ أَن يَغشى سَراتُهُمُ

يا مانِعَ الضَيمِ أَن يَغشى سَراتُهُمُ

وَحامِلَ الإِصرِ عَنهُم بَعدَما غَرَقوا

وَحامِلَ الإِصرِ عَنهُم بَعدَما غَرَقوا

O you who keep oppression from overtaking their chiefs,

O defender against wrongs that would overwhelm them

And bear the burden for them after they have drowned.

And bearer of burdens from them after they had sunk
