جَزىmay requite رَبُّهُhis Lord عَنّيon my behalf عَدِيُّʿAdī بنِson of حاتِمٍḤātim
جَزى رَبُّهُ عَنّي عَدِيُّ بنِ حاتِمٍ
جَزاءَrecompense الكِلابِthe dogs العاوِياتِhowling وَقَدand indeed فَعَلHe did so
جَزاءَ الكِلابِ العاوِياتِ وَقَد فَعَل
May his Lord requite ʿAdī son of Ḥātim on my behalf
May his Lord reward Adiyy ibn Hatim
with the recompense of howling dogs—and indeed He has.
With the reward of the howling dogs for what he has done
