لاdo not تَلومَنَّever blame اليَهودِيَّthe Jew عَلىfor
لا تَلومَنَّ اليَهودِيَّ عَلى
أَنthat يَرىhe sees الشَمسَthe sun فَلاand not يُنكِرُهاhe denies it
أَن يَرى الشَمسَ فَلا يُنكِرُها
Do not ever blame the Jew for
Do not cast blame upon the Jew because
seeing the sun and not denying it;
He sees the sun and does not disavow it;
إِنَّماonly اللَومُthe blame عَلىupon حاسِبِهاone who deems it
إِنَّما اللَومُ عَلى حاسِبِها
ظُلمَةًdarkness مِنfrom بَعدِafter ماthat يُبصِرُهاhe sees it
ظُلمَةً مِن بَعدِ ما يُبصِرُها
blame lies only with one who deems it
The blame belongs to him who reckons it
darkness after he has seen it.
As darkness, after he has seen it plain.
