ياO بَدرُBadr إِنَّكَindeed you are وَالحَديثُand talk شُجونُmany branches

O Badr, you are indeed—and talk has many branches—
O Full Moon—and truly, speech stirs the depths of the soul—
one whose like has never been created.
You are one whose equal Creation has never formed.
لَعَظُمتَyou have indeed grown great حَتّىto the point that لَوif تَكونُyou were أَمانَةًa trust
ماnot كانَwould be مُؤتَمَناًentrusted بِهاwith it جِبرينُJibrin
So great have you become that, were you a trust,
You have waxed so mighty that, were you a sacred trust,
Jibrin would not be entrusted with it.
Not even Gabriel would have been entrusted to carry you.
بَعضُsome البَرِيَّةِhumankind فَوقَabove بَعضٍothers خالِياًin your absence
فَإِذاbut when حَضَرتَyou are present فَكُلُّthen every فَوقٍlofty one دونُlower
Some people stand above others in your absence;
Some of mankind rise above others while you are absent,
but when you are present, every lofty one is beneath you.
But when you appear, all that is high is brought low.
