وَرُؤياكَ أَحلى في العُيونِ مِنَ الغُمضِ
The night has passed, but your bounty does not pass away.
The night has passed, but your virtues do not fade away,
The night has passed, yet your bounty does not pass away,
And the vision of you is sweeter to the eyes than slumber.
And the sight of you is sweeter in my eyes than closing them.
And the sight of you is sweeter to the eyes than slumber.
عَلىdespite أَنَّنيthat I طُوِّقتُI was adorned about the neck مِنكَfrom you بِنِعمَةٍwith a blessing

شَهيدٌ بِها بَعضي لِغَيري عَلى بَعضي
Though you have hung a blessing about my neck,
Though you have granted me such bounty as surrounds me,
For I have been encircled by a favor from your hand,
One part of me bears witness to it, for others, against another.
Parts of me bear witness to it, more than others.
Of which one part of me bears witness to the other.

The peace of Him whose throne is above the heavens
May He whose throne is above the heavens,
The peace of Him whose Throne is raised above the heavens,
Is bestowed especially upon you, O best of those who walk the earth.
Grant you, best of those who walk the earth, His peace.
Be yours alone, O best of all who tread the earth.
