ما كل أبيضَ محمود إذا نظرت

ما كل أبيضَ محمود إذا نظرت

عين اللبيب و لا المُسْودُّ مذموم

عين اللبيب و لا المُسْودُّ مذموم

Not all that is white is praiseworthy when viewed

By the discerning eye, nor is what is black blameworthy.

انظرْ إلى برَصٍ في وجه صاحبه

انظرْ إلى برَصٍ في وجه صاحبه

و انظر إلى المسكِ رغم اللون مشمومُ

و انظر إلى المسكِ رغم اللون مشمومُ

Look at the white skin patches on the sufferer's face;

And look at musk: despite its color, its scent is inhaled.
