وكم سائل عن وصف من أسس العلا

ومن قد علا عن وصفه كيف يوصف

ومن قد علا عن وصفه كيف يوصف

And many ask for a description of him who laid the foundations of glory.

And how can he who has risen beyond description be described?

فإن حمدته الناس فهو محمد

فإن حمدته الناس فهو محمد

وإن عجبوا من حسنه فهو يوسف

وإن عجبوا من حسنه فهو يوسف

For if people praise him, he is Muhammad;

And if they marvel at his beauty, he is Yusuf.
