Do not deny my intoxication by his words,

Nor blame his ardent lover for being in love.

فلفظه مرّ على ريقه

فلفظه مرّ على ريقه

وحسنه يعذر من حبَّه

وحسنه يعذر من حبَّه

For his speech has passed over his saliva,

For his words are bitter to one's palate

And his beauty excuses whoever loves him.
