فعال البرِّ لا تخفى ولكن

فعال البرِّ لا تخفى ولكن

يخص الله منها من أراده

يخص الله منها من أراده

Deeds of righteousness are not hidden, and yet

Good deeds are not hidden but

God singles out for them whomever He chooses,

God singles out whom He wills

ويرشد من يشاء لخير سعي

ويرشد من يشاء لخير سعي

ويجعل من جنى تقواه زاده

ويجعل من جنى تقواه زاده

and guides whomever He wills to the best endeavor,

And guides whom He wants to the best endeavor

and makes his provision from the fruits of his piety.

And makes piety their provision

وأرشد أحمد الرخصي لمّا

وأرشد أحمد الرخصي لمّا

بنى لله مسجده وشاده

بنى لله مسجده وشاده

And He guided Ahmad al-Rukhsi when

And Ahmad guided the permissive

he built his mosque for God and raised it.

When he built his mosque for God and erected it

وقد وافاه تاريخ هناء

وقد وافاه تاريخ هناء

تدوم لك المكارم والسعاده

تدوم لك المكارم والسعاده

And a joyful chronogram has come to him:

And a date of glory met him

May noble deeds and happiness endure for you.

May you have lasting generosity and happiness
