عابَني مِن مَعايبٍ هُنَّ فيهِ

حَكَمٌ فَاِشتَفى بِها مَن هَجاني

I was faulted for flaws that were his own

They blamed me for faults which are their own,

by Hakam; thus my satirist found satisfaction through them.

Acting as judge, though to me they were unjust.
