دُموعُهاher tears مِنfrom حَذارِfear of البَينِparting تَنسَكِبُpour down
دُموعُها مِن حَذارِ البَينِ تَنسَكِبُ
وَقَلبُهاand her heart مُغرَمٌlove-stricken مِنfrom حَرِّهاtheir heat يَجِبُthrobs
وَقَلبُها مُغرَمٌ مِن حَرِّها يَجِبُ
Her tears pour down for fear of parting.
Her tears from the fear of separation spill over
And her love-stricken heart throbs from their heat.
And her heart is enamored from its burning anguish
جَدَّhastened الرَحيلُdeparture بِهِwith him عَنهاaway from her فَفارَقَهاso it forsook her
جَدَّ الرَحيلُ بِهِ عَنها فَفارَقَها
لِبَينِهِbecause of his parting اللَهوُamusement وَاللِذاتُand pleasures وَالطَرَبُand joy
لِبَينِهِ اللَهوُ وَاللِذاتُ وَالطَرَبُ
Departure hurried him away from her, and she was forsaken,
The journey insisted heavily upon parting from her
At his parting, by amusement, pleasures, and joy.
For its separation - frivolity, pleasures, and delight
يَهوىhe longs for المَسيرَthe journey إِلىto مَروٍMarw وَيُحزِنُهand saddens him
يَهوى المَسيرَ إِلى مَروٍ وَيُحزِنُه
فِراقُهاparting from her فَهوَso he is ذوpossessed of نَفسَينِtwo souls يَرتَقِبُwaits expectantly
فِراقُها فَهوَ ذو نَفسَينِ يَرتَقِبُ
He longs to journey to Marw, yet he is saddened by
He yearns to travel to Marw, yet saddens him
Parting from her; so, with two souls, he waits in suspense.
