يَطولُhe is tall مَعَbeside الرُمحِthe spear الرُدَينيِّRudayni قامَةًin stature
يَطولُ مَعَ الرُمحِ الرُدَينيِّ قامَةً
وَيَقصُرُand falls short عَنهُof him طولُthe length كُلِّevery نِجادِsword-baldric
وَيَقصُرُ عَنهُ طولُ كُلِّ نِجادِ
He towers in stature beside the Rudayni spear,
With spear aloft, his height and bearing grand
And the length of every sword-baldric falls short of him.
Yet less than his, all other warriors stand
