طَلَعْتَ عَلَيْنا طَلْعَةَ الشَّمْسِ ضَحْوَةً

طَلَعْتَ عَلَيْنا طَلْعَةَ الشَّمْسِ ضَحْوَةً

فنُورُكَ منْ نُورِ النُّبُوَّةِ فيّاضُ

فنُورُكَ منْ نُورِ النُّبُوَّةِ فيّاضُ

You rose upon us like the sun rising in the forenoon.

You rose upon us like the rising sun at dawn

For your light flows abundantly from the light of prophethood.

Your light, from the light of prophethood, overflowing

جَلالٌ وإجْمالٌ وحُسْنُ خَلاِقٍ

جَلالٌ وإجْمالٌ وحُسْنُ خَلاِقٍ

ومَهْدِيُّنا بالكُلِّ منْ ذاك نَهّاضُ

ومَهْدِيُّنا بالكُلِّ منْ ذاك نَهّاضُ

Majesty, graciousness, and beauty of character—

Majesty and beauty, and the grace of the Creator

And our Mahdi vigorously upholds all of these.

Our guide, awakening all, from that light arises
