أَنْعَمتَ بالنّعَمِ التي

أَنْعَمتَ بالنّعَمِ التي

قَدْ أَتْعَبَتْ حُسّادَها

قَدْ أَتْعَبَتْ حُسّادَها

You have bestowed the blessings that

You have blessed me with blessings that

have indeed wearied those who envy them.

Have wearied their enviers

فاكْبِتْهُمُ بِدَوامِها

فاكْبِتْهُمُ بِدَوامِها

واكثِر لَنَا أَعْدادَها

واكثِر لَنَا أَعْدادَها

So confound them by letting those blessings endure,

So defeat them with their continuance

and increase their number for us.

And increase for us their number

رَامُوا مُدَافَعَةَ القَضا

رَامُوا مُدَافَعَةَ القَضا

وَحَاوَلُوا إبْعَادَها

وَحَاوَلُوا إبْعَادَها

They sought to resist fate,

They have attempted to defy fate

and tried to drive those blessings away.

And tried to distance it
